I have finally started wrapping my boot build. Bought black carpet to wrap the whole boot. Was going to go for the leather. But could not get a good match in the tan leather.
Bottom section where the two subs are is now fully wrapped. Ive done one side where the amps are mounted. Got a bit late and dark so decided to call it a night. Starting fresh tomorrow. Finish wrapping the other amp enclosure. Put everything back in the boot again and wire it all back up. Only part which is missing is the part behind the seat still. All in all its getting there atleast.
shall give you a sneak peak.
I managed to wrap the other amp side in the morning on sunday before I headed out about lunchtime. All three pieces fitted back into the boot perfectly. Wired up the two led strips to the boot light at the same time. I still have to finish of the part behind the seats. But here is a sneak peak.
Sorry for the low quality photos was taken on my mobile last night
Well car has had New Lowersubframe, New drive shaft, All new bushes on the anti roll bar. Mot is due so she should pass with flying colours. Ive also decided that the wheels are for sale and the punto might also be for sale.
Not much of a update at the moment. Well that's a lie. I've got a special item to go into my punto but cant share what it is until its done. Lets just say it will match something also in my interior.
My car after I detailed it at a local car meet at Mercedes Benz Body shop.
Ive done alot to the exterior and interior of my car but I have not really touched my engine bay apart from the usual mechanical changes. So ive decided to start detailing the bay. I have started off with the fuse box cover. People who own a Mk2 Punto may notice I have shaved off the emboss lettering and filled in the circle whole in the centre. Again trying to have everything clean and simple with little touches make it different.
Painted Black Metallic
Well ive managed to do it. Fit a Alfa Romeo stearing wheel to my punto to match my alfa Seats. Airbag and horn all work and no airbag light on the dash which is a result!. Threads lined up perfect and all the connections were plug and play.
Here is a quick photo from my mobile
I realised i needed to get a capacitor for my boot as sometimes my dash lights would flicker when heavy part of bass would play threw a song. Managed to get a Vibe 1.0 Frad. But after seeing a can of monster in tesco I couldn't resist and try this mod. What you guys think.
With snow coming I doubt there will be many updates on my punto. Would like to get the boot build fully finished for Hope town house. Engine bay sorted. Also looking at Brembo Alfa Cup calliper upgrades as a possible mod.. Would love air suspension but trying to find a second hand kit proving a tad difficult.
