So i had a grande punto 1.4 8v, and decided to buy a full swap of a grande punto 1.4 t-jet (ECU: Bosch ME7.9.10) . Swap physically was ok and simply well. Didnt get the BCM so had an immobilizer issue (U0426) and a gearbox type recognition error. Took it to this guy and did an immo virgin and the engine started all well. The issue is it didnt go past 1.8k rpm and idles 1k and idles pretty rough. Errors are these:
P1686-67 - Motorised throttle (1st idle learn)
P1687-17 - Motorised throttle (stop learn)
I tried checking continuity from the throttle body plug to the ecu and its good, disassembled the throttle body and gave it to my father (electrician) and confirmed it is well, removed the throttle body connector and started the engine had the same error with the same situation. Removing the errors turns off the EML light for 2 seconds and it pops up again. Gas pedal signal works well and detects the correct signal and percentage. Also the throttle body flaps when i turn on ignition but when i press the accelerator it does not move.
Current situation is that I have a downpipe without flashing the ecu with the decat off for lambda. Could it be the culprit?
Will also try changing the throttle body tomorrow or friday maybe it is actually faulty but giving the current one is claimed to be well i highly doubt it is the issue.
Anyone has ever run in a similiar situation? Any help is much appreciated
Thanks!
