MoT time

My car failed it's MoT today...

The MoT doesn't run out until 1st April however. I know that normally if it fails you are only allowed to drive it to the garage and back but what about if you have a week left on the ticket?

Suggestions would be appreciated as I HAVE to be at work Monday Tuesday and there is no public transport available.

As long as none of the failures were listed as unroadworthy then you are ok until your existing mot runs out.

Although your existing MOT is still valid until 1st April, the fact that your car has just failed the MOT means it is no longer in a roadworthy condition.

If the Police were to check the database they would see the failure issued as the last document and be able to chek the car against the items listed on the failure.

thanks for your replies. It's going in tomorrow anyway now. Flippin' drop links. I seem to be replacing them on a yearly basis and thought it should pass easily!
