Binks an MSN? wow, should teach my cat what it's all about it seems lol.
Lora, me too, i like the few seconds you get before you open your mouth and seem a fool (not saying you do, i mean me, you know what I mean lol). I needed to phone my agency today to say I wanted thurs afternoon off aswell to "sort out uni" - yeah right

and expected a voicemail at 8pm, nope, got a Kelly services call centre :O Didn't plan at all for that and it knocked me off balance but I am learning and getting better for practice.
Tom: I think if that's the same route I am thinking about it's bloody amazing, you spend most of it on the side of a hill on limestone gravel - you also go through a ford at the bottom of a REALLY steep hill, can't remember the name and my map of that area is in the loft. Anyway, was going that route with 3 friends, doing nearly 30mph down a good slope, about 3pm after starting off at 9am. I was leading the group (as always happened, was one of the stronger of the 4 but also was the better map reader

) but felt I was dropping down the camber of the path too much (i.e. we were on a path which was sloped like the hill just not so badly) I didn't panic at first but tried to head back to the higher and flatter part at which point the gravel which must have been very deep at that point gave way and i hit the deck, i held on for dear life and skidded (pedal against floor) for about 15 metres on this gravel before coming to a stop, closely followed by 2 of my friends who had been breaking since i came off on that sliding gravel who came over the top of me. None of us were injured and it was a great bit of fun - they said afterwards I looked wicked coming off and then just sliding down as if nothing was up lol. Only problem was my friends chain went when we got back going so spent the next 20 mins redoing his chain (for some reason I had taken a chaing removal/refitting tool at the last minute, lucky!)
Alas, this was a good few years back and now I don't have those friends anymore
