There's a distinct difference between performance and visual mods. Most visual mods are sh¦te. Most performance mods are good. Why try and tart up a 1.2 Punto to make it look like a supercar?

and what if you get "great pleasure" by modifying your car? should you still not do it because the minority think it looks awful?

Most people's "pleasure" derived from modifying their car is their perceived impression that everyone who sees your car thinks you're cool. This is not the case.

What makes you think it's not in the pleasure they get, because they think it looks cool. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, it's their car and it needs to please them not other people.

I have a 2.4 20V Stilo Abarth - I have 'modded' it for my pleasure, not to think I am cool [as a 32 y/o professional accountant, cool???] - mods include 35mm Eibach springs, a BMC CDA induction kit and an fuel remap....

I don't give a stuff what people think about my car, tbh.

So why did they ask for opinions on it then? :bang:
