Are you a bit thick in here or something?

Lots of love,
Cliveybaby xx

Oh Clive, you come on here under a pretence of maturity or to ask a sensible question and then add a cheap shot of a line like the above onto the end of your post. Then you proceed to trot out the same old boring Fiat stereotypes again and again, it does you or your snidey little site no favours :( ;)

Well when you own the world's only perfect car, I will bow down to you.

I won't give you the name of the user until he reads this, it would be unfair of me. He is a friend and I trust what he told me. Obviously I speak ******** because I am a "thick liar", I left school at 13 (because my 4 year old gf had twins) and still think University is where Einstein lives.

FYI, the 1.2 16v is one of the most powerful engines in its class I do believe. Your comments basically suggest you're not just a hater of modified cars but a hater of any car you don't own? Ah well, I feel for you.

Giggle at any cars as much as you want, free speech and all that, just make sure your members don't infringe copyright please.

Tell you what, Barryboys - you keep to your site and we'll keep to ours. We're obviously different sorts, us and you - so we'll stick with what we're happy with and you with yours.

BTW, I have no beef with your site, feel free to raid my websites (poor though they are) and have a good laugh - only thing I will ask is not to post any pics of my son if you come across any.

If the thread has been removed it will be because of the comments mentioned in posts above.

Leave us be, and we'll leave you be, fair?

I am with Pete.

I have just got from lunch, and come back to a BANNED post which is totally justifiable. I asked you ALL to calm down, but that never happened.

And now you have the audacity to ask WHY WAS IT BANNED?

Let sleeping dogs lie, and we will ALL go about the way we want to.

PS Merry Christmas :)

Can ne1 who has seen this Barry site confirm that my car wasn't one of the ones posted as if it is I want them to remove it - many thanks - Em

wow, you guys are really sensitive about your cars.
I get a fair bit of criticism on barryboys because I drive a Fiat, but at least I don't pretend that it's a sports car. It's a great fun little runaround (Cinquecento SX) which gives me great pleasure. I live in the middle of a city, and anything faster would be pointless. I just don't pretend that it's anything it isn't.

i wouldnt bother either mate,

i never said my car is anything it aint, its a 1.2 not like im going break anyspeed records with it is it now????

aint the national spped limit 70mph anyway????

there's a difference between pretending it's a sports car and enjoying driving and personalising it. There is a subtle difference between this and many people pigeon hole a modified car as a boy/girl racer. I don't go on the barryboys website because i can't stand stereotypes that just see a modified car and instantly brand it as crap on wheels. This is not a dig at the site (after all, that's what it's all about) but my own perosnal opinion as to why i don't go on there. As far as I'm concerned, people can say/do what they like, anyone that gets their kicks out of spending their time slagging off people behind a computer screen aren't worth my time. In the same way that you see people that claim their 899cc Cinqs are super cars.

I once owned a Cinq SX and loved it for what it was. I love my Sporting for what it is, I don't care what it can and cannot beat in a race. If i cared about that, i'd be driving a much better car

and what if you get "great pleasure" by modifying your car? should you still not do it because the minority think it looks awful?

I hadn't noticed anyone claiming their car was a sports car, although that might be because I spend most of my time here either spamming pointless threads or debating things nothing to do with cars.

I have a 1.8 Stilo 3 door, I wouldn't even say it's that quick compared with some of my previous cars, but it's relatively entertaining.

I have noticed a fair few people hear are very passionate about their cars, I guess that makes sense otherwise most of them wouldn't have found this place.

As far as claiming they are sports cars is concerned, every car my brother has ever owned has been the best car ever made and has been faster than everyone else's version of exactly the same car. Do his claims upset me? no, I find his tall tales highly amusing, mind you they are somewhat unbelievable. Last time I was talking to him, he was trying to convince me that the Audi RS6 is the faster production car ever made, which is one of his more believable stories.
