Well, how embarrasing!

Just had a call from pandavan (thanks! ) to point out that this event is at StaMford in Lincolnshire, not StaNford in Leicestershire!!

What's the difference I hear you ask?

Well, one is around 90 miles away and the other is about 40.

Anyone who has driven any distance in a classic 500 will know exactly what I mean!

So sorry guys, but it's just too far for us!

Another thing that puzzles me....... MITCAR = Midlands ITalian Car Show

Now, when I were at school, StaMford used to be in Lincolnshire = East Anglia???

Hardly Midlands methinks...........

Stamford is definatly in the midlands, the East Midlands,Birmingham being the west midlands, East Anglia is at least 80mls away, think Norwich, etc. This was the first time at a show for me, I was parked a couple of rows back from you lot, Blue Panda 100hp as the name suggests, acouple of friends were there with yellow coupes. What a great day, perfect weather, a bit of breeze to keep you cool, and stunning background. my favourite Fiat was the red Cinquecento that had been restored, a future classic to be sure.Not really Mrs. Blue Centos scene but even she enjoyed the day, will have to do this again.................................

Seems that Stamford is in Lincolnshire which is apparently part of East Midlands.

Shame we couldn't make it.
