Tuning Anyone running a D'Angelo Motori solid motor mount/support?

Just curious if anyone out there is running one of D'Angelo Motori's billet aluminum mounts on their car. If so, how you do you like it? How is the noise/vibration/harshness throughout the car compared to stock?

I am using one of these mounts in my test-rig, but I bought mine WITHOUT the "cotton-reels" I then bought some (because the engine is mounted at both ends on rubber "cotton-reels") from a UK supplier called "Car Constructor"--cheaper in both cost and carriage! The "wide" end will not fit straight onto the rear cross-member---I think that you will have to make an adaptor plate. If you have not yet bought the plate, my advice would be to "stay with the standard set-up". A good friend of mine fitted one of the 'up-rated' springs into the rear-mount----we soon changed it back to the standard spring as it transmitted so much engine vibration back into the car.

I haven't bought one yet. I was just curious as I tackle some of the larger mods. Figured a firmer mount may help a little bit with lost power/torque from engine movement, albeit a very little.

Hi Matt;
The very little that you would lose (if any) would not be noticeable when driving---as I said, leave as standard, but possibly, RENEW the "standard" spring as it MIGHT have got a bit 'soft' over the years.
