General Trunk lid front support

I need to replace the front brace/latching panel on my 500L. Does anyone know if this is offered as a separate part from the vendors? Thanks.

I have had a look through a number of sites, and that individual part does seem to one that is available. I had a look at a number of 2nd hand bonnets, and most of them suffer the same problem as yours. I also looked at the price of a NEW bonnet, and they are cheaper than that being asked for the 2nd hand
ones! (Motobambino in England---£120, part number:---BP0011). The 'safety-catch' IS available as a separate part. Alternatively, why not weld in a flat plate and then secure it with a couple of well spaced rubber catches, and use a pair of little rubber 'buffers' to prevent the bonnet rattling and give some tension to the catches. Thanks for your response. Lots of sheet metal available but not the trunk and engine lid braces. I don't need to replace the lid itself so I may have a go at trying to make one.
