Microsoft warns on IE browser bug

43% of FF users :)

Firefox = 28
Chrome = 13
Safari = 10
Opera = 2

Is that actually %age of registered users or %age of hits over a certain period? For example, at work (especially just now while I'm on nights) I'll make a lot of hits with IE through not having the option of Firefox and having very little work to do. However at home, I use FF but won't make as many hits. Personally I think IE is used in the majority of cases more out of laziness than choice.

I love the way MS tells you to install the mitigation tool oh but user using XP may need to upgrade their OS :bang:

What about large organisations who have like somewhere in the region of about 3000 computers / 250 laptops and have not long just upgraded to XP from Win2K.

Fools - just make a decent enough secure browser and we wouldn't have these problems.

We have just upgraded our browser in work to IE8.

On my home computers I use chrome on my Windows 7 computers and Opera on my XP machine.
