Bravo Matthewr1990's T-Jet Bravo Dynamic

Introduction

So after months of looking around, researching, test driving and even a little fight (don't ask). I have finally got myself a Bravo. And what a beauty she is. It's a (57 plate), Dynamic, T-jet 120.

Goodbye Megane. You horrible excuse of a car!

Now can someone point me in the direction of a new brain. Even the climate control confuses the hell out of me LMAO. Gonna need a really good read of the manual.

Anyway. The car has a full service history and only has 57,000 miles, it had got a broken glove box but the garage is sorting this for me. It's coming with 9 months mot, 6 months tax and warranty, it's just had new belt's, water pump, brakes and two front tyres. It's in beautiful shape with no dents although there is paint work damage on the rear bumper. It's not deep, they're just surface scratches and no dent so god knows what they hit or did lmao. But it's not severe and barely visible from a distance, so it will be sorted when and if I'm ready.

QUESTION: being as this is a 57 plate car. Will it be able to connect to my iPhone 5 with a software update and the right connector?

So anyway without further ado here she is. She will have a name in due time

Good looking interior

Considering it's 6 years old, the upholstery is immaculate

Beautiful colour

So what do you think?
Re: My new Bravo :D

Isn't yours a sport? So should have traction control option. Mine hasn't got traction control at all. I have to just know how much power to put down without it spinning the wheels. But because I'm secretly the Stig, obviously it's fine haha.

Some may see it as a waste of money, as for an extra hundred or so you can get a full rolling road custom map. I just don't have that £100 at the moment with family and wedding planning. My daughter is going through clothes and shoes quicker than I can get the money out of my wallet lmao.

It is yea, it's not very good though, it either cuts all power so you don't go anywhere, really useful in snow though but I've still managed to get wheel spin with it on though! Once I'm moving I have great traction from the 225 wide Vredesteins! :D

When I had an Alfa 147 as a courtesy car, that had traction control and it was brilliant. It only dipped the throttle just enough to stop it wheel spinning. Very clever system.

Another thing I have going for me (which I mention far too much), are my tyres. The Dunlop's I have on the front have unbelievable grip wet and dry.

Re: My new Bravo :D

Nice one Matt

Probably running a solid 145 bhp (y)

Hate to p**s in your bonfire here son but a 30% increase in torque seems virtually impossible, it's not a diesel..

Mine went from 206 nm to 243... a 17% increase. Which when you bare in mind mine rolled at 169 bhp

I would say 10% torque based on a 20 bhp increase (y)

I think the mapper had diesel on the brain when he came out with that :D

Anyway Matt, I'll pop round for a race later :p Only messing though, I love it too much to risk it haha

I've still not got around to posting my video. I need to put some time aside to edit it properly..

Ahh man, feel a little less happy now. Actually no I don't, I get a to 60 in less than 8 seconds. That would beat many things. Yours even quicker than that then rob? What sort of times you getting,

Honestly, not tried..

I've ran it up a few times and it didn't impress me perhaps as much as I thought it would in my head :p

0-60 times are irrelevant to me, I don't race off the lights.

In gear acceleration is more important, 2nd, 3rd, 4th while overtaking is much more important imho.

Then again, just to try I might have a go soon :p

Re: My new Bravo :D

Drop the head lining and it unbolts (y)

Ahh man! Was hoping to avoid doing that. Headlining drops easily from the back then? Guessing the two interior lights will need to come out? Anything else?
Also is there any sealant around the rubber or does the force of the bolt pull the rubber flush to the roof?
