Technical Lpg Conversion

Has anyone converted a Panda to run on gas 1.2 & 1.4. And if so how many miles can you get out of a tankful of gas?

where the spare wheel is, you need to do away with spare, but I could live with that.

Wouldn't touch the stuff with a very large and pointy stick.

Don't know if it's just the quality of the LPG fitter's work, or that maybe Fiats don't like it, but every LPG-converted car we've seen has always come in with running faults and ran poorly on gas and horrendously on petrol.

But it's your choice, and my opinion.

mmm, you say we,ve seen , some say it works brilliantly others it runs like a pig, but surely nowadays you should be able to get a good conversion?
Ive had diesels for 20yrs , no regrets love everthing about them, but fancy the 100hp & all its trim but with the economy of a diesel. I have driven the 100 but the way I drive, I would be lucky to get 30/gallon as my chipped d does 52...always fancied converting to gas he economy should be as good if not better?

How many cars have passed through your place that ran with running faults that were only petrol powered, i think you will find it is a small amount of LPG cars that you have delt with and not really understood what the fault was anyway, leave LPG to the guys that know what they are doing and the so called mechanics that have a fiddle please leave well alone if a fault occures in running of LPG car take it back to LPG installer , you do have a point about quality of install if done correct no reason why they should be any different to standard, having my 100hp done 9th July by a very reliable LPG installer would not contemplate if any thoughts were in my mind, like you say
