List of new or closed Main Dealers

Agreed... but greed is the problem here. Servicing costs for the cars whilst under warranty are excessive. The recent introduction of the FiatCare Servicing program for cars over 3 years old (i.e. out of warranty) with more realistic costs has renewed my support for my local dealer but the need to look again at the situation for newer cars!

I'd rather pay £69 to get my oil/plugs/filters changed plus a full check than £84 to get someone to spend 2 minutes turning my gas back on! :bang:

Is there any info anywhere on this 3 year old servicing plan? As hadn't heard of it before. Thanks

Posted a scanned copy of the leaflet on the Servicing - The highs and the lows thread in the Stilo general section Hornet.

T' not sure what your driving at with you comment but not sure why the FiatCare scheme is not widely publicized to get customers back in through the door? Perhaps they prefer to try it on for neigh on double the money and then wonder where all the service customers have gone... as for 69 quid for a service, that don't exist in the Fiat dealer network does it? Also when your work colleague gets a full service + list done at an independent specialist for a shade over 200 quid on his Porsche Boxster... it does make you think :chin:

Sorry Got On My High Horse Then , Ment To Say What T14086 Was Saying Is That The Service Includes All Genuine Parts And Fully Trained Fiat Techs That Do The Job For That Price

It would be bloody sad if Dealers go to the wall for the sake of some genuine support from Fiat Uk and Fiat in Italy to save them for the future.

That was the thought behind my original post.
If Citroen can underpin their dealerships, where necessary with direct franchise takeovers, why not Fiat?

Transparancy on whats actually going on would help too.

Loyalty to an individual Fiat dealer can only go so far, we bought the cars new repeatedly, try to support the dealer with repair work after warranty and then seemingly get kicked in the teeth.

We were lucky to Find another Fiat dealer about 3/4 hour drive away, to whom we can transfer our Fiat loyalty to, but it would be good to get some loyalty back from Fiat Italy/UK.
For me this would be knowing where Fiat will hold or develop a prescence, rather than a seemingly ad hoc hope of "who wants a Fiat franchise".

Also running some quality control through service departments on repair quotes done under the Fiat name, ref; My cambelt/waterpump quote, (above link.)

In some ways ( although it could hinder competing DIY tech advice) it would be good if a *heavy Fiat prescence* pervades this forum as at least they are getting feedback from loyal customers as well as the well documented problems.

* I mean, from helpful techs such as T, to Fiat management and CEO.

Fiat as `a marque` currently has our full support, lets hope for others such as us, we get something back in return.

Regards
