General light bulb icon on dashboard stays on

A bulb warning light on the dashboard is on constantly, any ideas as the lights are all working correctly.

Happens on mine as well - then I go over a bump and it goes off again

It might mean that a bulb is going to go out soon or maybe a dodgy connection somewhere.

Have you replaced any bulbs with LED's? If not then it will just be a dodgy connection somewhere, I put a bit of duct tape over the light on my dash board, it did my head in (I use led's)

I know im kind of hijacking the thread a bit but its a dashboard warning light query ! Should all of these lights be on, the engine is not running this is just at the "ignition" stage however theu stay on once the others have gone off !

They are all on on mine at ignition stage too. I assumed it was normal. Has it not always been like this WillGP

Im not sure to be honest MrMurray20 I just noticed it today but to be honest I never really leave it on the ignition stage long enough for it to stay on !

hi im having the same problem light bulb comin on then goin off av i got a bulb problem as ive only just had my punto it 06 plate

Mine keeps coming on and going off as well when I have my lights on but this is only due to a dodgy connection with my reverse light..............Not much help to OP lol
