can someone help,just had the front springs changed as per recall,and now developed a knocking,returned car to fiat, they said ball joint worn.....coincidence? does anybody out there know whats disturbed/removed when removing the front springs?:worship: :

They would have had to drop the bottom arm off to take the strut out, the ball joint is pressed into the arm so it sounds like it's been disturbed and is probably not sitting in the arm properly.
Ball Joints are probably available separately but you will need a press to put it in the arm. A quicker fix is to replace whole arm.
