I'd like to build a lightly tuned, ULEZ compliant Multipla to ferry our 4 kids around North London. Thing is, I want the MK1 front end, but it seems only late mk2s are Euro4. Are the front ends interchangeable?

This, with decent suspension and a few more horses, is the goal:

looking at the ePER diagrams for both models, I think you will find that the windscreen glass is different, (deeper and squarer bottom corners) as are the front struts and their ancillary fittings. (different part number for old/new models, plus additional bits for the )
Think the basic chassis body might be similar, but the windscreen and ancillaries might be a problem that is insurmountable. You would need new bumpers, bonnet, light fittings and side panels, and possibly other parts shown on ePER which are different between the two styles.
Possibly other things as well, not shown on ePER?
