General Key ignition

I know this might sound weird since I have had the car since January however I know that fiat puntos have an unusual ignition system to get the key to turn. Does anyone know how to do it properly I usually give a bit of a wiggle as well as turning the steering wheel but does anyone know how to do it first time?

you means getting the steering lock off?

simples - key in.ignition - pull steering wheel to 1 side of the lock and the key

i can get in a remove the.steering lock with ease, hell i dont even think about it

If your key is wearing out, it gets worse.

Compare the two very closely side by side for rounding of the peaks, particularly close to the plastic body.

I have a job now with my original.....should really get round to replacing it!
