Re: power graphs from Red Dot in Watford.

Could not get my scanner to work but hope these photo pics are ok.

One on machine is from first fitting of gsr kit and others after improoving on the induction and remap.

Now running 151.1 bhp with 107.4 torque at 6500revs

New supersprint complete system on its way, so may get better results after another visit to the boys down at red dot for some more fine tuning. :D

KC just wondering what do you say when the insurance company ask you if you've done any mods - does it cost you loads more?
xS

I,m just waiting to complete my set up and tell them. I,m paying just under £300 now and I believe Doc is paying around £500ish.

So maybe things will go up around those figures. I believe a current valid Mot and Tax is more important to the insurers.

Yep mine is £530 with all the mods on the books and being 33 with 5 years NCB, garaged at night and only 5000 miles per year. I will be getting a tracket this year so that should help bring it downa few ££.

I know a tracker on a car that would sell for 5k might sound OTT but its all the spanner time I have put in that I would not get back.

151bhp, now thats getting somewhere, nice work, you must be able to feel the difference by now im sure.
Those arent bad prices for insurance either, nice and low considering everything that has been done

Dont worry Peter, I plan on, you wont know what hit you if i can get that car there :D
I may even just come pay you a visit while im over even if there isnt a meet on

W8a2nd. I am confused now. If i understand right, for every mod you do, you have to report this and pay some additional xx€?
over here is insurance based on horse power and car type. last time i payed about 400€... and they cheated me. my b is now assured (allocated) for 4 peoples and i notice this few months later.

I guess things are different in every country. Here the insurance company always ask you if you have any mods. I've never had to declare any but I'm guessing that if you had a lot of mods like KC or Doc and you didn't tell them they would use it as a reason not to pay out if you had an accident.

How do you get 4 people in your b?!:p
