Hey guys

I'm new to this forum so not entirely sure if im posting in the right place but i'l give it a go!

I have a 2001 punto 1.2 speedgear (the misses car) and it seems to have an intermittent judder. Its mainly on low revs when we come to a stop at traffic lights etc the car judders a bit and when pulling off it judders like crazy and feels like its gonna die! sometimes it will happen a lot but sometimes will hardly happen. The times it most happens is at lights or going uphill. car is hardly used now and i dont have money to throw at diagnostic tests so any help is much appreciated. it happened really bad early when i drove it and the engine management light started flashing but has since gone off. i changed the plugs and leads 2months ago due to a different issue so i aint got a clue what this could be.

any ideas guys?

cheers

Rob

Juddering on setting off could be fluid on the clutchplate/pressure plate.
If it only happens first thing it may just be a bit of condensation.
~Alternatively, juddering can be caused by loose/faulty or degraded parts in the drive - engine/gearbox mounts, bushes.

i had that problem on my old punto sporting. Found out is was the lambda sensor, it controls the fuel/oxygen mixture so not enough fuel it judders/misfire, too much fuel exact same. They cost around £50 new just need to get it fitted.
