ISPs who offer a 2meg service

I'm looking for an isp who offers a 2meg unlimited data transfer service, preferably for under £20 a month. 8meg only isps need not apply, though i may end up having to go that route as the main ones only seem to make that offering

I would search but it's not easy at dialup speeds or on the phone

BT engineer who came to check phone line was ok suggested it due to the way the lines are setup at the local exchange, apparently it'll end up faster in the long run, especially at busy times. Plus if it's cheaper i'm not arguing! As if pointed out when i asked though, bt don't offer it.

vodafone do vodafone at home where its £25 a month unlimited everything, includes landline line rental and free evening/weekend calls etc too, not sure if your with voda though helz?

I would be hard pushed to go back to ADSL now.

i'm not alex but can you just get BB with them if you haven't a mobile? And do they offer a 2meg level?

No Stu. So i take the best i can get with the constraints i have

nah they do the "up to" spiel and costs £35 a month if you dont have a contract with them, which cant really recommend as well it brings it level (or above) other alternatives

I think you will be hard pushed to get a 2MB service - most are now UP TO 8MB, and with the new ADSL2+, then it will be UP TO 24MB.

gone to tiscali for £15 a month, cheap as chips and been with them before so i know the state of play

as orange do 'free' BB on certain tariffs

I would have suggested Tiscali Helz, I'm in the same boat as you with regard to limited speeds etc so uber packages are no use to me.

will exchanges run to 20mb? last year our local exchanges were upgrading so we can run to 8mb, we still only get a 5mb maximum
