Got my adaptor today (big thanks to Chris and Sharon @ Souls)

Best thing : iPod will near instantly start playing your 'Now Playing' track from where you left off before plugging into B&ME

Worst thing : B&ME library appears to take twice as long to initally build but, as the 'Now Playing' feature is added this is no big deal IMO.

Otherwise the Automotive 5.4 update and B&ME adaptor do exactly what you would expect

Big step forward for iPod/iPhone users
'Full' review to follow once I have had a nap :lol:

Can you sign me up for one please? My friend asked me to get him one. Can you ship it to Hungary, EU? How can I pay, CC, PayPal? Just visited my dealer today, asked him about the adaptor, and he was like , and I was like :bang:

Does ecoDrive still work ok since the recent update and can it be installed on the iPhone or will I still need to use a USB stick for that?

Hi EddieJ, my ecoDrive still worked. Some peeps have had to re-download it.

You will need to use a usb stick to do the install too.

Guys I don't have a problem shipping outside the UK but due to the higher postage costs it would have to be £70 instead of £65. I cant only accept payment via credit/debit card over the telephone and the delivery address must match the address the card is registered too.

Looks like its time for me to get busy then! To make life easier I'd prefer to take payment via card over the phone. I don't mind getting my lovely assistant to call you if you'd like but its probably easier for you to call us on 01908 361393 (Chris or Sharon)

Once we have taken payment could I ask you to PM me the address you would like the adaptor sending too. I will keep you up to date at all times with how the order is going (e.g when its shipped etc)

I'd also like you to let me know once you have the item and that you are happy, this way I know the transaction is complete and I can stop worrying about it!

I have 2 here now which are ready to go and can get as many as needed by tomorrow morning which can be posted monday!

Yes iTouch as well is reported to work but, not tried it myself.

You will (if you check) find that your iPod doesn't work 'fine' and will mis-name tracks, albums and even play them in the wrong order (compared to the track order of the album) even if they play in the right order on the iPod. The upgrade/adaptor fixes that and adds a few features (as detailed in my review)

cheers, yes i have noticed that and it takes forever to load all the tracks, i went 10 miles the otherday and still said "loading database please wait".:bang:
