Blue and me failure

My blue amd me module failed. I have temoved he modem and all components are intact, circuit board is good and grounds good as weL. The modem needs to be rebooted, is there anyone in Alberta that can do that? Person or dealer?

Just I have repaired my defective B&M device in 15 years old Fiat Punto and may be of your good help. My 1st Blue & Me was out of order long back. Procured one after another and now I have 3 B&M modules. When my 3rd one failed, I was not in a situation to buy another one@Rs 30K in India. So, tried to do something being an Electronics Engineer. The solution is very simple. You buy a 1000 Microfarad, 25V Aluminum Electrolytic capacitor (SMD type, Tolerance: +/-20%, Dia almost 12 mm, Height 13 mm approximately) which you could get at any electronic component store within 0.5 USD. Open the B&M PCB from your car. You could see one 12 mm diameter x 13 mm height silver metallic component. In fact, this is the largest among such components on the PCB. Just replace it with the procured component and I am sure your problem will be solved. I can say it so confidently because I have replaced only this component in all of my 3 B&M Modules and now all of them are functioning as if new while testing. One is fitted and working without any issue. Just try it.
