I've just been reading a few threads related to intercoolers and my questions are:

1. If the radiator used for cooling the engine has an electric fan to aid cooling why hasn't the Intercooler Rad got a fan to aid its cooling?

2. If I was to add my own fan to the intercooler rad would it aid cooling enought for me to notice any change in performance?

Your thoughts?

most of the cooling will be done on the move. the fans are only there for stationary. i beleieve there is two fans as the radiators are in different areas and therefore have seperate air flows.

:yeahthat:

Intercooler temps don't get high enough to warrant a fan. Electrical drain would make it counter productive even if it would have a benefit.

A common mod is water spray which is really effictive on FMIC's.
