Hi all,
-> Ducato 2017, 177PS, F1AGL411A

Due to injector replacements, I tried to key-in new injector codes. AlfaOBD only allows to enter 7 alfanumeric digits while the code is 8-digit. MES notes to key-in 9 digits but also just allows 7 digits.
Has anyone a clue what to do to enter new injector codes?

What format are you old injector codes in?
Post photo of old injector showing numbers?

I think you have bought incorrect injectors
Do not attempt to use them
There is a risk of damaging either the ecu or the injectors

It is impossible to interchange solenoid type injector and piezo type injector, serious damage will be caused.

I'm not saying that is your situation just be aware of the above

Understand. These injectors came with replacement engine.
Engine has correct motor code F1AGL411A and injectors are originally mounted as far as I can say.
BTW: Im driving this motor 2yr now, knowing of incorrect injector codes with no issues.

Someone else has previously had the same issue and the last figure on all injectors was F. They used the first 7 figures leaving off the F and had no problems.

I know im late to party still sufferering from black death .
you have correct injector and all injector seem to have the suffix F.
this injector is now obsolete and replaced by 0445 110 520 though took a while to sort out. fisrt off my order was refused as being wrong then reorder and changed to new . heres my old one 2017 2.3 130.

In my case (Ducato 2.3D, 2014, 96KW, 131HP) the new replacement injector code ends with C. Replaced it, car starts fine, but can't program it in the Multiecuscan. It says, completed, but the code doesn't persist.

Using ELM327, any idea why ECU doesn't persist the new code?

Since car starts just fine, can I drive it as normal?

Oh no , after all your hard work too!

Where did you purchase injectors ?
Did you supply your engine number /type to injector supplier?

I've got Ducato 2.3D, 2014, 96KW, 131HP, the original ones are 0445110418 and that's what I've ordered.
Turns out I've received 0445110520 instead, but I've realized that after mounting them in.

I've got them from China for nothing, the corrections has improved, but can't code it in, fun fun fun

It seems that 0445110418 and 0445110520 injectors are mechanically compatible, but they use different IMA Bosch Coding for the correction codes. Either bench test report needs to be done and new IMA code generated or... there is some guy which can decode/encode BOSCH codes, so they shall be able to transcode the IMA code according to the injector model: https://mhhauto.com/Thread-Free-injector-IMA-correction-code-calculation-decoder?page=21

I guess it's all about: "this is reserved for professionals only, give us your $$$", as there doesn't seem to be reason to change the coding convention every new release.

Gonna give it a go, as I don't expect much from my Chinese seller, even though I politely asked :)

They are certainly counterfeit... well, they're not Bosch and they haven't been advertised as such.

They've been sold as a replacement injector.

Given that it looks like brand new with all the proper packaging I don't have a reason to not trust the seller about the bench testing. Bear in mind that it's also Chinese who produce parts to repair these injectors - they aren't sold by Bosch.

I keep my fingers crossed seller will be able to give you translation of code into format you need.

Thank you for keeping us up to date with progress..... I am learning
