Technical Diesel Injector problems

Hi all,

I’m having a black smoke problem with my 2006 X250 Ducato, 2.3 130 Multijet.
All the ”easy” checks have been done: no boost leaks or clogged filter, etc.

It seems that previous owner had changed the injectors for some reason and that’s when problems with MOT started. I’ve checked with MES that all of them are correctly coded to ECU. Correction values are minimal and engine starts and runs smoothly. Just smoking a bit too much of black smoke when pushing the pedal.
I’m thinking that could the problem be a set of wrong type injectors?

So, my question is: what is the correct Bosch part number for that early X250 injector?
- 0445110273 or
- 0445110418

Thank you for your advice. It seems that a decent pricing is their streght also.

I’m not sure about the part number. I think my multijet needs 0445110273 injectors and there seems to be something else installed at the moment. I’m also wondering if those 0445110418 injectors might be slightly different too?

Might be worth giving them a call, Really helpful company. Or an email. I have coversed in English by email with them no problem.
