Hi folks anyone know how I can increase the sound of my flashing indicators on my punto. Getting a bit deaf these days

buy 2 of these
http://www.maplin.co.uk/miniature-buzzer-3213
take off lower cowling locate left and right indicator power to bulb wires and tap off for these buzzers and ground the other wires on the buzzers (polarity right way round mind or they wont work)

or pull the carpets back in the footwells and you should find the cables going to the side indicators tap into these with the buzzers

i was asked by a customer to do her car coz shes a bit mutton but kept putting her off, i have done this with my commercial trucks though because the self cancelling mechanisms have failed and this was cheaper than a new switch

do not try to use one switch though as you may damage the bsi unit

caveat umpar:)

just be aware that adding anything to the indicator system can alter the load or resistance and change things like the speed at which the indicators will flash and if you have it give bulb blown errors on the dash

this is why they fit additional low load relays when you have a towbar fitted

if OP follows my posted link he/she will see that power consumption is minimal and woulnt be detected:)

Is there not wires for a buzzer allready for if your towing a caravan/trailer ?
