General Fuel indicator

Hello everyone. The fuel indicator suddenly shows that petrol is very low. When the car makes some kilometres the indicator is moving and shows the real level of petrol... What shall I do?

They're not part of an MOT, so you only need to fix this if it stops working altogether.
