.... will it knock out my existing phone?

Want to try my dad's nokia E71 in my car to see if it is a good phone to buy - can I see if it works without messing up my contacts list or is that not possible. Can I delete the pairing and contacts list from my dad's phone afterwards from the car?

Thanks.

From reading the manual, it reckons you can install up to 5 devices? I am not too sure about deleting individual ones again, but logically you must be able to. I have two connected to mine, but never have had them on at the same time.

if my memory serves me correctly, you can install more than 1. Was messing around 1 night with a friends mobile (as it supported text reader), then when he left, it picked up my phone. So i say yes?

If all else fails, just start again

Heidi,

Should of mentioned this before, you can pair another phone but your phone will still be the primary one,so,when you have tried your Dad's phone you can just delete it when youve finished.

I tried dad's E71 in the car and it paired perfectly although I did say NO to downloading the phone book lol. The B&M lady wouldn't listen to me but listened to my dad!

Thanks for all advice.

:ROFLMAO: My B&M lady is a right bitch too. She just won't listen when I say my home phone number. Insists that "four" is in fact "zero" but only when the preceeding number is an "eight" And when she repeats the number I haven't said back to me, I say "no" and she calls it anyway. It happened so much that I am now on first name terms with the poor person I keep calling lol

Nah, mine will stop the media player when on a call - but she just turns it on all the time. I want Radio 1/Absolute when I get in, in the morning - not the rubbish on my memory stick! :( God, I'm sounding like I'm old, miserable and lonely
