Hi,
I live in Tenrife and have a Punto 1.2 2001 car.
The ECU has had to be replaced and a friend of mine is bringing a replacement ECU back with him from the UK.
I have read the post about the flashing light re; resetting the ECU. Is the reving of the car all that is needed to reset a new ECU or is there more to it. The car is at present in a local garage and the mechanic seems to think he can reset the ECU but I don't want to take the chance of another ECU being required. Any help much appreciated,
Dave
