do you mean Ultra Deep Shine? i sometimes apply this along with srp and egp. :)

Autoglym advise that UDS doesnt bond well with SRP and it is meant as an alternative, I use UDS on a black car with new paint and SRP on silver, both give good results.

tbh i found the UDS went very well with the SRP and EGP. one of the best combo's i've tried! how come srp has been fine for black cars until now then? personally i think thats a load of B.S. from AG!!!

I take it off to clean behind it, its funny how the front end looks massively different

I know minnnt, if I park my car under the sun after a wash n wax n polish thats what it looks like, it's misleading and makes me feel good.

But I can assure you that my paint is swirl free, and is taken care of well.
its a photograpy class you should attend:D as for swirl free paint aint your car very new??? just wait till its went through a winter season come back and say the same or even 1yr on the road:(

I see I have one or two challengers.....
Theres no way i'm going to be outdone in my own thread......

Beat that bitches

AHHH MY EYES

how white do ya think his teeth are.....:D to be honest it doesnt matter how much you polish or wax your car if you aint got the right camera and lighting conditions you wont get good results.as far as i am concerned my car is cleaned and polished waxed religiously even to the extremes and is as good if not better than all on this thread.winter is fast approaching and all those shiny new 07 and 57 plates are all going to get a almighty pounding by the weather.its a fact a new car will only stay looking new for so long:D

here is ideal photo condition for getting the red gp at its best it was taken a year ago hence the blue logos.its not just the paint work you need to capture its the tyres and wheels too:)ps thats me in background my son took the photo:D

Of course the car isn't completely swirl free, but it's swirl free in comaparison which is what I was getting at. I don't think you could find a year old car that isn't. I use methods of cleaning that minimise swirling.

I'm no photographer and don't claim to be.

I'm not looking forward to the winter, I might cover the car in a polythene sheet and drive it like that. I hate rain and dirt.

wheres your sense of humour????:) its a thankless task in the winter to keep your car anywhere near the condition you normally do.but then come winter i only see my car in the daylight at the w-ends:D dark going to work darker coming home.just think about all the money you will save not buying all them expensive detailing products???eh:idea: buy a good digy camera with it.......(y) :D

LOL! no problem mate. you still bought the wrong colour GP though buddy! :D

tell you what though i dont what colour of the megane 225 you had but i saw a 57 plate brand new out the wrapper in the same shade of red as the gp what difference it made to that  i have seen some hellish of that car(n) the red was stunning looking also seen it in the clio 197 it had special 18"s on it very nice.tempted to go over to the darkside:D but i have high running cost.i am £240-50 a month on diesel god knows what it would for the clio 197:eek:  :D

Sorry mate i'll lighten up!

I think i'd spend more on detailing in the winter because i'd always be cleaning the f*cker :bang:

I hate having a dirty car, I cleaned it in the rain the other day

the 225 was nimbus grey which all 500 (well, 499, there was 1 inferno one!) trophy's were... it was alot easier to keep clean, but i missed having a black car as i have had two silver ones before the GP, hence why i went for black this time around with the GP. as for the red, it's called ultra red, it used to be capsicum, but they changed the shade slightly and altered the name to ultra red. the 197's come with 17's as standard, but 18's from the meggy fit them and i THINK are available as an option/extra anyway. if you're looking at the clio then the r27 is great, the recaro's are awesome, they hold you in position so well and are really suprisingly comfy. RS are bringing out a cup version of it also pretty soonish and will be available in white, which will look fantastic imo. also, i son't think there has been any hellish colours for the 225's or r26's...

if you're spending £250 a month on diesel then i would probably double it... i am doing double what i was in the meggy, and the clio would probably be the same as you have to cain it to get anywhere quick. you would certainly miss the mid range power/torque of the GP. :)

thats a cool looking megane mate must have broken your heart in some ways parting with it.they have a lot of road presence something the gp doesnt have:D
