i cant remember how to change the fog light bulbs...

Can anyone help me... i want to change my fog light bulbs but for the life of me cant remember what bolts to undo, is it the socket fitment attache to the underside of the bumper and the screw on the shroud?

any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't bother, just undo the front bolts to the wheel arch liner or if your brave enough climb under the car and reach in. Turn the cover on the bag of the foglight, disconnect the wire to the bulb, remove bulb, replace wire, refit cover, screw the arch liner back in if undone.

If not and you want to risk turning rusted screws, all you need is a cross head screwdriver. One inside the foglight cover, two other screws can be found under the bumper. Thats it and the cover will come out, thats if the screws come out easily, which i doubt they will.

Thanks fella, the screws on the shroud come out easily enough but was a bit late in the day so left it at that. give it another go tomorrow.

just stick your head under the bumper and screw the back of the foglight off and thats it. Why are you going through the arch liner?

Klemster, its not possible to do that with all models. I know for the fact that the TD100 engine requires quite a bit of faffing due to the extra rads down by each side of the front of the car.

Not sure with the 20v set up for the Rat but should be accessible by taking the shrouds out rather than the arch liners.

Im not going to go through the arch liner, but i still have the under engine tray on so sticking my head under wont work either.

oh yeah I forgot about the diesels because I'm just used to mine! But is it possible to get the shroud off while the bumper is on the car when theres so little room?

I can't remember the shape (as have been playing with an Abarth bumper which is different) of the shrouds but I think there are 2-3 screws. 1 at top pointing to the floor, 2 underneath the bumper with access holes.

from memory I don't think you can get to the top screw when the bumper is on but I may be wrong, it's been awhile since I did it and I've an Abarth bumper now aswell!
