Tried to open my bonnet tonight to jump start my car and the bonnet would not open. I then checked the cable and it seemed slack so I pulled it and it did not move. It is either snapped or seized. If this is the casr how do I open the bonnet?

Had this happen to me. Had to force the grill off and use a spanner to very slowly undo the bolt that holds the bonnet clasp in place to release it.
