How much will i get charged for getting the code for my car

when i bought my brava-S i didn't get the codes, how much will fiat ( or whoever ) charge me for getting my code, and is it the same code for the radio as well because i'm replacing it and when i sell the car i'll need to put it back in, cheers for replys guys

I doubt that your engine code is that same as your radio code.

Go to the Fiat dealer who sold it from new - they'll have the codes. Take the car and log book with you to prove ownership. Failing that you'll have to pay £12 to the National Security Register for teh radio, or get a decode.

I have been told that some specialist shops can now clone your Fiat Keys and dont even need the Red Key anymore - any comments, boys and/or girls???

I took one of my Blue keys to Timpsons,the guy told me he could clone it no problem, he does loads of fiat keys, it cost £25, had no problems with it whatsoever,i have the slip for the fiat register thing, if it only costs £12 i might just do that then, do they send out the codes for the radio and car when you register or do you have to ask them over phone/mail when you tell them your reg etc..?

if fiat won't give it to you, get it de-coded when you decied to put it back in should only cost around £10
