Styling How Low??????

hello there to everyone.
Seeing the thread about the springs and how low can an uno go, i am planning to buy a lowering kit too but i dond know, should i go for 40mm or 60mm? Could you please post any pictures with visual differences between 40 and 60?

ps Chrisunoman Are the fotos of your uno on your web site taken after you fitted the 60mm?

lowered mine 60mm... on 15s it was still very hight up... but that was on 15s heh.. 40 would be good

IIRC, uno's can drop about 100mm...

60mm would be a choice height with the right wheels - otherwise you'll find the car skit and rattle to death.

And again IIRC, the pics on chris' site was on his old 35mm springs. (Feel free to correct me)

Yeah the two bigger pics are of my car 60mm, the rest 35mm, apart from the bottom one which was standard!

I have 35mm springs for sale if anyones interested....

nope heh... the back was lowered 60mm and the front was lowered 35mm

ive seen an uno lowered 100mm .. looked damn nice

Hi chrisunoman, Yer M8 I'm interested in a 35 mm drop (I just PM’d you)!!! As I said on my £320 thread I have a knocking from the rear suspension (again).

Are they (also) Jamex springs which suit the jamex shocks?

I think luke1985 has already asked if your selling em (Hi Luke) – somewhere on FF so I guess he gets first dibs…

They are Apex springs and i dont know what they'd be like with Jamex shocks, but they were fine with the standard ones i had on.

Hi louie, If you want the spring then you can have em - i'm skint at the mo so wont be able to afford em till next month at least. Plus i wanna drop 60mm with uprated shocks

well, mines lowered 60mm on jamex shocks and springs and it sits high at the back but nice on the front and the uno turbo is lower as standard! but i have no weight in the back on the car so i guess thats why!

going to be selling my kit hopefully one day as im gonna get some AVO coilovers and wind it down AT LEAST 80mm! pimp
