Daughters car arrived today. Tyre light on and the triangle of death on, and a very harsh idle. Not the first one Ive had like this. A section of sponge glued under the air intake trumpet and refitting it stops the harsh rattle to dramatic effect.
TPMS suggests a slow puncture, so investigate tomorrow.
I think we have a poor bulb contact somewhere as the triangle is clearly intermittent. Job for th0e morning to check and clean bulbs.

Well the air intake trumpet was loose. Astonishing how bad that sounds. After a small piece of sponge had been glued on the lower side of the tube silence was resumed. I removed and cleaned the throttle body, the VVT solenoid, the MAp snesor and the manifold which was quite damp with oil. The effect is profound, its running so sweetly now. Then doing some checks discovered the rear washers were not working. THe pipe was detached in te scuttle , so off with the wipers and away with inner and outer scuttle panels. At least the duck bills are now clean. Its clear that thorough hosing of the lower corners of the windscreen is a good idea as there was a heavy deposit of mud there. Apart from leqving things under thescuttle and doing ittwice it was straight forward.

The triangle light was for a blown brake lamp so I had both rearlights out and cleaned behind them too which was a good move as it was a bad mess.

Nudge is back in business for a while though due for a service next week but due to the warranty its a garage jobbie.

I am getting a little bit of an idle too, but can't figure out what it is.

Can you show me where the map sensor is as I heard this could be the issue? And how do I check my scuttle pans?

I thought i had a photo. Im going to do a guide on this. If you look down below the air box in front of the drivers seat on the end of the plastic inlet manifold the re you will find it. It is fitted inthe end of teh manifold. Held in by one torx screw. The wire has the standard Fiat cable so you need to slip a small blade screw driver under the yellow tab and raise it by 3mm or so them pull the wire off. The MAF will be misted with oil and is best cleaned with carb cleaner or similar, dried and replaced. The oil from the crankcase breather tend to pool in the manifold and cleaning it out helps a lot too. Hence removing the throttle body. I use a little spring grab to thrust a bit of cotton rage in and mop it dry. I will post a pic shortly.

This is the MAP wire the sensor is a little lower. I had already disconnected it here. The other loose wire is the VVT solenoid which has been removed, Its suprising how much greasy deposits build up on teh VVT solenoid screens.

PS
this is a 2017 1.2

That's a good pic Panda Nut. Interesting the VVT solenoid has 3 filter screens when my 1.2 solenoid has just one like this:
