I wouldnt get hids in your foglights, it might reduce their effectiveness when you need them lol

I haven't got foglights on my current Grande and when it's foggy, which is all the time because I live on a river by the sea, I can live without their functionality

The cornering function of my new cars fogs is the only use for them for me really. So if there switching on every 5 seconds round corners I want them to match the headlights. Think I'm gonna stick to blue tinted xenon gas charged normal bulbs for both fogs and headlights.

Would look ghey if they were different to the headlights with the amount they will switch on round corners lol

i went with these SUPER SLIM35k, 6000k HIDs from HID-DIRECT;

http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/hid-co...s/ultra-h43-hilo-beam-35w-hid-kits-p-260.html

and for the brightest sidelights you gotta look for;

SMD LED ERROR FREE side light bulbs, if there not error free your dash brings up the warning lights, well it does on mine as its an 09' upto you if you can cope with it.

Hope this helps, touching on what others have said.. :D

Is it just me or has nobody clicked on the Halfords link in the original post?

"Autoglym Car Cleaning Wash Kit Gift Pack"

I have feeling that won't be quite like a HID Kit, would be very dark at night...

I would say http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/mtec-xenon-super-white-501-w5w-bulbs-sidelights-p-369.html as they apparantly dont have the OBC error and they look good YouTube- MTec cosmos blue lights 4750k
i have some on order at the moment but will post up what they are like an try an get some pics of my own up so you can see.

I've already got these sidelights in my headlights but I want specifically LED SMD ones for the numberplate lights. To have the look like new BMW's have. Anyway after much research I've found and purchased some but thanks anyway :)

yeah see it now, how do you get that big fat thing through the tiny sidelight hole? ha

A normal sidelight bulb is slightly wider than the width if the bit where it slips in anyway, and I checked my rear number plate light housings and the hole is quite a bit bigger than the bulb, so I'm nearly 100% sure it'll fit .. I can keep you posted and show photo's if you wanna see the end result. Bearing in mind the result is good :D

Also Alex, the number plate bulbs either, depending on which way you fit in the light fitting, point diagonally outwards or inwards or you could point the bulbs both the same way (if you don't understand have a look at yours later. A single forward facing LED looks rubbish, but one like this should eluminate really evenly!
