I have a 2.0jtd swb panel van, I have a problem that occured yesterday evening, I came off a slip road and changed down gear to get around the corner and the van to lost some power, I carried on and there was a definate change in engine tone, about a further 5 miles up the road I came to a set of lights and had to change down again only for the more power loss, this time I nursed the van home on idle..
I have been out in it again this morning and all was fine until I came to a roundabout and changed down halfway around, lost all power again, I got an opportunity to pull over and stop which I did, switched off and restarted the engine and all was ok again..
I can manage to get her from A to B with some very thoughtful driving but I still need to get her fixed, any of you guys have and Ideas
