Hi everyone!

The light has been gone behind the heater controls on my Grande Punto for a long time. Sometimes if I hit a bump, they flicker on for a bit, then they go out agaibI recently was getting it serviced and asked the mechanic to change the bulbs while he was at it.

He told me he took it apart, but that I would need a whole new heater control unit, as there a no bulbs in it, it's an LED...

My question is, is this true? I have seen a few videos of people changing the bulbs behind heater controls, so I'm not sure of certain models are different or not. It's a. 2006 Grande if that would matter.

Short answer is yes. Have a look in the guides Ill be surprised if there isnt one telling you how to do this. In my Bravo my local dealer did the heater bulbs in about 20 minutes while I waited and the charge was pretty reasonable so it cant be too hard.
