Whys that mate? The can advises to wait at least 24 hours before sanding prior to the colour coat.

Think its so the paint can adhere to the primer, i once went back to mine a few days after primer and it would not stick at all, 4hours is enough, ive done prime paint lacquer all in 1 day before, lacquer needs the longest to harden normally 2 days before you can polish, im no pro but im sure bodyshops dont take a 4 day turn around for a patch job lol

yeah good thinking. Ah this is confusing me, tons of different view points...then of course there's the advice on the can which confuses things further....

Well leaving it over night will be fine, its under 24hours and long enough to cure naturally

I have also read that people leave it a few days, dont know what to suggest, very mixed tutorials

Completely agree ive always done it in few hours.
once when i forgot the paint wouldnt adhere, but also read some people say leave few days which is wrong surely

I dont think either way is wrong....leaving a few nights worked for me, until I got to the laquer stage!
