Could be worth trying FIAT specific sorftware.. See if it highlights a network fault

I'm told only main dealers will have access to software updates, and unfortunately, we no longer have any good main dealers - there used to be several. Keswick and Darlington no longer sell Fiat's (Stellantis dropped them), and Carlisle and Morecambe are shut. It's a Fiat desert up here - very sad.
Now there's just Preston, who were pretty useless on the first two episodes of electrical trouble we had.

The local independent garage we use are good, and have generic diagnostics, but specialised Fiat diagnostics would surely be useful.
