you may get lucky mate we did, when we were selling the seicento a guy with 4+ and 3- feedback won yup a grand total of 1+ feedback he wond the car turns out he stayed around the corner and he came round with cash
well i just rang, it is an asian lad i think, his mother picked up and when i mentioned he'd won my car on ebay she asked me wat a car is, said he's not in and took my unber down, not looking hopefull!
well what a pr*ck he turned out to be, he wins my auction and then sends me this message:
hello, im really really sorry and i know you will probably want to kill me but my parents have bought me a fiat stilo as a present for getting my degree. they did not know i was bidding on e-bay for this car. im really sorry. if i had known before the auction eneded that they had bought me a car i would have got in touch with you and asked you to retract my bid. i am geniunely really sorry about this. i wish there was somthing i could do. I REALLY AM SORRY. I FEEL AWFULL AS DO MY PARENTS.
I HOPE YOU CAN FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO FORGIVE ME.
he will be getting bad feedback me thinks!
luckily someone came to view it last week, i rang them and he should be coming round 2mo to drop a £100 deposit on it and buy it for £950
Ebay really needs to sort this out. If you go to a car auction, bid and win you are buying that car like it or not. I would suggest they make all cars sales a register before bid service and all bidders have to enter CC details to bid. If they win then a 15% deposit should be taken from their CC as soon as it ends to avoid this sort of nonsense.
Unlucky Seb. Make sure you join BOOM.
