also i notic eyou only have 512 mb of ram that is low 1mb of ram would make a noticable difference

Yep, that's probably going to be my next upgrade, although I'll probably wait a while, save a few pennies and go straight to 2Gb.


The new card arrived this lunchtime. Hats off to overclockers.co.uk for getting it here quickly! Gonna fit it this evening and see what it'll do

Fitted my new card last night, fired up GTA SA... 1280x1024 with all options turned up.. and it's spot on! In fact, it's making my machine's lack of memory clear... whether I run it at the most basic settings or with everything turned right up, it stutters and the hard drive light flickers a lot. 2Gb of memory is definitely next on the list!

Still, the graphics card gets the thumbs up, ta for the recommendations!

That sounds like onboard graphics, so unfortunately you won't be able to upgrade it.

australia was britain's "alcatraz". people didnt move there, they were sent there as punishment for crimes. we had overpopulation problems in the cities, and a lot of poverty, so to get rid of poor people we shipped them off to australia. shame we cant do that these days.
