want Nvidia but they don't make it easy.
want to spend under 100 quid to last 3 years.
more memory the better perhaps with sli
would prefer a resonable sounding brand?

any ideas how to understand the latest set?

seem to be about 20 and none made by any of the regular old ones just the cheap sounding ones

just belive the physics modeling is going the way of onboard gpu and away from cpu. and think nvidia is doing more for this
dont use autocad in such a way that it needs any more than onboard use.

perhaps a poll ATI V Nvidia.
had rapiers tho i think were ati many moons back

Well i use my desktop for playing Fallout3 and Call of Duty. handle these no problems. But yes a majority of my work is AutoCad or ArchiCad based and it flies through these processes

Its a ATI Radeon 5550 1GB GDDR2 LINKY

Thats in a machine with 2GB DDR3 Memory with a Intel i3 Processor

tempting to make the switch. Since i do have problems with black ops.
might get ATI now

I only have Modern Warfare, but cant see Black Ops been much more demanding than that.

The 5550 costs around £100 but if you can make the expense for £170 then look into the 5750, which is MUCH better. but the 5550 is definately a good graphics card. look at the reviews for it. you wont be disapointed. (y)

I'll try and get a frame rate reading for you :D
