Hi guys, just a quick one. I hate leaving my car with non-Fiat mechanics and am sick of being ripped off and losing things like screws and getting interior trim cracked / broken with careless mechanics in my area.
But at the same time, the dealer ain't cheap!
Anybody on here who is a mechanic in Northern Ireland or knows a good one who's been pretty reliable and respectful with their Fiat?
Would rather give my money to a forum member than a complete stranger!
I'm in L/Derry but NI is small enough that I should be able to get anywhere for planned repairs. Pricing up the timing belt repair at the minute, Fiat says £242. Also looking for the clutch and gears to be checked and my handbrake (some idiot welded it in the past). Fiat wanted £127 for that.
