General General Panda thoughts

Just spent a happy few minutes browsing through this.... :)

A few sad Pandas; but quite a few that most of us would recognize immediately... -- including... :D

Scroll down and the 2 red pandas near the old grey transit are mine!
Click on it and the photos are from a Flickr stream of a guy called Jamie-A
Weird or what? Look at the comments of other people though and one says they must be owned by a panda enthusiast :D Also that it must be a photo from the 80's

I thought they were...! (And I'm hoping other people will post back, when they find theirs....) (y)

Spooky...! Ahhhh

You're not a Time Lord, are you? If you are, can you nip back to 1986, please, and fetch me a mint 750L...?! :D

This has nothing to do with Pandai, but nothing does anymore. :D

My mums had her Fabia about 18 months. "My car won't start" I replied by laughing.

Dash lights up, but then apart from fuel pump noise absolutely nothing. A quick google discovered a common fault is the starter motor solenoid wire just snaps off, contorted my hand under the battery. I think this loose wire should connect to something?

So after you remove the airbox, battery 'n tray and have the car in 3rd gear. Why does the battery cage have 40 wires attached like an umbilical cord and that can't be bloody moved?

After gently forcing the electrical connector off, the connector is a 1 inch square of plastic. ALL it is, is a spade connector entombed in a nugget of plastic. Weirdly, I fixed it with a spade connector, 2 inches of wire and several feet of electrical tape.

In a Panda, you can remove the entire starter motor and read a book at the same time.

I thought I'd broke Ivor.
last week when the weather was good i thought its about time i started on him, so first step was put his battery back in and move him away from fence to give him a good clean.

But ignition key would not turn  i thought ah selecta puntos have an electric gate thin on ignition stops you turning key at the wrong time Ivor must have one and not enough power in battery to operate it, so put battery on charge for a day. still no good.

was family time at weekend so couldn't do nothing.

Today i remove steering wheel and cowl(sp?) and stalks and lowered shelf, started to dremmel slots in security bolts, then suddenly realised Ivor don't have immobiliser so why are keys blue n red  :bang: :nutter:  then i realised i should have checked simple things first, like is it the right keys.

A question I keep forgetting to ask, how do you flash someone in a Panda?
A few weeks ago I was letting someone go and tried to flash them, nothing happens if you flick mainbeam on without the headlights on first. Did Fiat just think that we would have no reason to allow other drivers to go in front out of courtesy?

You pull the stalk towards you like you did in your GP (y)
