Shame half these cars never go into production and if they do they take all the good bits off and replace them with crap

example the new ford mondeo looks ace, but they will never bring it out coz they a dic s

well fiat have announced a coupe replacement, and heavily disguised cars have been spotted for sometime now, so is this the new coupe ? hope so. it looks horny:D (y)

And here is another strange little fact, all you Cinq owners could have been driving around in the original designed Fiat cinquecento (later became the Daewoo matiz)....

Here's an article I found from a website I used to maintain, dated 9th February 2005 about the X1/99;

"Fiat are expected to unveil another concept car at the Geneva Motorshow in March which could well make it into production. The Fiat X1/99 which has been designed by The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) has been sanctioned by Fiat for further development.

Based on the new Punto platform (Progetto 199) the X1/99 is a coupe/cabriolet with 2+2 seating. The name of the car suggests that Fiat intend it to be the spiritual successor to the X1/9, the seventies roadster which has now reached classic status and has a large following."

phew, thank god they didn't use that!

Apparantely, the original Nissan Micra was a rejected Uno design, seems like the Japs like taking all the rejects :nutter:
