There are two types. One type of them has a large spring locating device which fits inside the caliper piston. Motor factors often supply the wrong one. it took EuroCarParts four attempts to supply the correct ones. You need to take the calliper off to remove the type with the locating spring. You will need to press the caliper back using levers then remove the large butterfly spring on the outside face of the caliper. Then remove the two bolts that hold on the caliper. The pads need pushed inwards and then can be withdrawn. Put copper grease on the new pads outside faces. Push pads back until they are far enough apart to push calliper over disk. Secure with bolts and put on butterfly spring. This is the type for my car, but there is another version. Hope this helps,
