Please can somebody help me.
I'm wanting to replace my front wheel bearings and hubs on my panda 169 as they have started to go noisy.
Only problem is, I'm getting conflicting info on which bearings I need.
Some say 72mm od and another saying 65mm od.
I need part numbers please. For the hub and bearings please.
Also I have been finding that on ebay and most places selling the bearings, they only come with one locking ring, where there are two in the hub carrier, so I'm guessing that it needs 2 rings.
1.3 jtd multijet.
RA57 HZV

This is my info....
VIN ZFA16900001050873
VARIANT AXC1A
VERSION 0340
MODEL CODE 169
ENGINE 1248CC
Engine 188A8000
ENGINE NUMBER 2367343
CHASSIS NUMBER 01050873
Thanks.

You can search eper fiat electronic catalogue on here, and use the vin in the search

It only shows one part number

Also budget for a pair of new ABS sensors, which have to be removed from the hub before the bearing can be pressed out; and on my car these sensors were very firmly stuck in place and did not survive removal - apparently a normal situation. It's not worth the time/effort involved trying to save them if they don't come out easily and intact. Fortunately new sensors are inexpensive (around £16 each for FEBI via eBay) and easy to fit.

Easy with press

Harder with special tools, unfortunately leaving the ABS in is not an option on the panda

It can be done with threaded bar and a good selection of large sockets as spacers

I have a lathe so I just turn an appropriate spacer as and when required

I'm getting conflicting messages from sellers on ebay who say they don't have my bearing going by the fiat part number.
See this one for example
According to the fiat part number and bearings I have found they are 72mm od and 37mm internal od for the hub.
Obviously these bearing fit lots of different cars, I'm also pretty sure that the front brake calipers are the same as some of the vauxhall ones like the astras, combo, corsa, also the early ford ka.

I don't know what the dimensions are

Even if I still had my panda I would not take it apart to measure

71745047 is the only part listed against your vin number as per post two

If I type that in to Google there plenty of suppliers

From around £15 including nut and circlip pl

Thanks koala thats very helpful.
I did find a supplier on ebay who matched all the numbers on my car chassis, vin etc but failed to tell me they have to import them from the EU and it was going to be three weeks for them to get to me, so I cancelled the order as we are moving house shortly and I won't be there to receive them.

I've used these people recently and found them to be excellent, if that's any help.
I've just inputted my Reg number and it comes up with a 1.2 petrol model, it doesn't list a 1.3 multijet diesel.

Thanks for the info it's very helpful
Can I ask if you've done this type of wheel bearing before, or is this your first? You'll find it's very tight in the hub. I wouldn't like to try one without having the use of a press. Also, sometimes, the snap rings can be an absolute bugger to get out. Not trying to put you off, just want you to appreciate this isn't a job for the faint hearted.

I did a couple years ago on a mk3 astra where I had to use a threaded rod and large washers and it was a bit of a pig.
But I have the proper tool now to Pull it out and push it back in again.
I have always done my own repairs and maintenance on my cars.
