Tuning Fitting Induction Kit to an SX 60 Mk 1

Does anyone have a rough guide on how to fit one?

If you know what the engine looks like, it has the box on the top with the 2 handles on either side, and a black pipe coming out of the left.

Do I mount the Induction Kit in replacement for the black pipe, or do I take the whole black box off?

better to cut pipe down and have it so filter is behind battery though

Just had a quick read of that thread and its describing how to fit it to a MK 2 car?

Would it be the same principle for a MK 1?

work better if you cut them an fit so pipe dont sit above a hot engine though

That's a question, once you fitted yours karbine, where did you leave it rest, did you make a bracket for it?

Yeah they bought the focus induction kit for a mk2. Mine is mk1

Karbine does your induction kit rattle at all ? Or does it sit quite tightly without a bracket.

Also whats the sound like?

It doesn't rattle at all. It really is jammed next to my battery and its held in great. no rattle or need for a bracket... as of yet
It sounds great when you put your foot down, sadly I am only doing that in neutral in my driveway lol.
But when my dads driving it, it sounds great too.
But mainly I can just hear my exhaust system
