Tuning How to decode ecu to use custom eeproms?

Hi, i recently bought a used ecu to play with custom chips and stuff but i got a problem… decode!!
I tried the chip swap method and i think it didn’t work since when i put a custom eeprom the fuel pump didn’t even start and neither the car… i have no other choice at the moment than decode with the chip swap method since i don’t own upa/xprog/carprog.
